Bonus Terms at Richroyal, Read Clause by Clause

Promotional terms are written to be accepted rather than read, which is why almost every dispute about a voided balance turns out to be a dispute about a sentence somebody agreed to and never looked at. This page goes through the clauses that matter on the Richroyal platform, states what each one does in practice, and identifies where a complaint about them would have to go. This portal is independent of the operator and has no power to change or interpret its contract; what follows is a reading, not a ruling.

The core conditions

ClauseValueEffect if breached
Qualifying deposit20 €no bonus attaches, the money is credited normally
Turnover requirement40 times the bonusbonus funds stay locked until it is met
Time limit14 calendar daysbonus and its winnings expire, deposits remain
Maximum stake5 € per roundbonus and winnings voided, enforced automatically

Concurrent bonusesone at a timea second offer is refused or queued
One account per personstrictclosure of all accounts and forfeiture of balances

The stake ceiling, which causes most losses

Of everything in the table, the 5 € limit removes the most balances. It applies to every single round from the moment a bonus is credited until the requirement is finished, it is checked automatically, and there is no warning before the spin that breaches it. A player who raises the stake once, out of impatience or because a feature looks promising, loses the bonus and every euro won with it. The remedy is mechanical rather than clever: set the stake once at the start and do not touch it. It is worth noting in passing that a German-licensed operator would cap a slot spin at 1 € for every player at all times, bonus or no bonus, which makes the whole category of mistake impossible there.

Clauses about behaviour rather than numbers

Standard terms prohibit more than one account per person, per household and per device, and detection uses payment data, address data and device fingerprints together. They prohibit coordinated play between linked accounts. They also prohibit low-risk patterns designed to clear a requirement without real exposure, the classic example being covering opposite outcomes on a table game so that turnover accumulates while the balance barely moves. All three are treated as abuse and all three result in confiscation. None of them are ambiguous, and a reader tempted by any of them should assume detection rather than hope for the opposite.

What the operator reserves for itself

Bonus texts typically reserve a right to amend, suspend or withdraw a promotion, to request verification documents at any point, and to refuse an offer to an individual account without giving reasons. The conditions in force when a bonus was credited normally continue to govern that bonus, but the only way to prove what they said is to have kept a copy. Saving the page or a screenshot at the moment of acceptance takes a few seconds and is the single most useful precaution available, because in any later disagreement the operator holds the record and the player holds nothing.

Where a dispute is actually heard

This is the point where the German framework matters most. A platform on the whitelist published by the Gemeinsame Glücksspielbehörde der Länder in Halle an der Saale is supervised by a German authority under the Glücksspielstaatsvertrag of 2021, with all that follows: a 1 € cap on the stake of a virtual slot spin, five seconds between spins, no autoplay, no jackpots, a panic button that suspends an account for 24 hours, participation in LUGAS with its shared monthly deposit ceiling of 1.000 €, and a connection to OASIS, the nationwide exclusion register administered by the Regierungspräsidium Darmstadt. Richroyal is licensed in another European Union jurisdiction and is not on that list, so a complaint about a voided bonus goes to the authority that issued its licence rather than to the GGL. That is a meaningful practical difference in language, procedure and timescale, and it should be weighed before a bonus is accepted rather than after it is lost. The route for raising an issue is described on the complaints page.

A minimal set of precautions

Read the contribution line and the stake ceiling before anything else. Save the terms at the moment of acceptance. Set the stake once and leave it. Diary the expiry date. Keep one account and use one payment instrument in your own name. And remember that declining an offer costs nothing at all: a deposit without a bonus is withdrawable from the moment the account is verified, subject only to the 15 € floor and the weekly ceiling of up to 4.000 €. Questions and answers

Which clause voids a balance most often?
The maximum stake rule. Five euro per round sounds generous until a single larger spin is placed without thinking, and the check runs automatically on every round with no warning beforehand. The bonus and everything won from it are removed, and the decision is not usually reversible on appeal.
Can the operator change the terms while a bonus is running?
Most bonus texts reserve a right to amend or withdraw a promotion, though the conditions accepted at the moment a bonus was credited normally continue to govern that particular bonus. Saving a copy of the terms at the moment of acceptance costs nothing and is the only evidence a player has if a dispute follows.
What counts as bonus abuse?
Duplicate accounts, coordinated play between linked accounts, and low-risk betting patterns that clear a requirement while avoiding real exposure, such as covering opposite outcomes on a table game. All three are detectable and all three lead to confiscation of the bonus and its winnings under standard terms.
Which authority would hear a complaint about these terms?
The regulator that issued the licence, since Richroyal is licensed in another EU member state rather than in Germany. The GGL supervises the operators on its own whitelist, and a platform that is not on it falls outside its complaint procedure, which is one of the practical consequences of playing outside the German permit system.
