Richroyal Explained for Readers in Germany
One euro per spin, five seconds per round, a thousand euros of deposits per month across every licensed operator combined — that is what online gambling looks like when Germany permits it. This page sets that rulebook beside what the Richroyal platform actually offers, and marks every point where the two diverge.
See the operator's offerrichroyalcasino.biz is an independent information portal for adults aged 18 and over. It runs no games of its own. Whether an operator is permitted in Germany is decided by the GGL whitelist, not by a badge and not by this text.

Germany only got a rulebook in July 2021
Before that summer, online gambling in Germany sat in a legal grey zone. One federal state had issued its own licences, the rest lived under a prohibition nobody enforced, and operators simply hosted their servers abroad. The State Treaty on Gambling that took effect on 1 July 2021 ended that arrangement. Virtual slot machines and online poker became licensable nationwide — under conditions no international operator would have chosen voluntarily.
Supervision moved to a single authority. Since the start of 2023 the Gemeinsame Glücksspielbehörde der Länder, the joint gambling authority of the federal states, has held full responsibility from its seat in Halle an der Saale. It grants permits, it enforces them, and it publishes the whitelist: an open list naming every operator allowed to offer slots, poker or sports betting to players in Germany. That list is the only document capable of answering the legality question. Everything else — trust seals in a footer, certificate graphics, the phrase licensed and secure — is design work, not evidence.
Richroyal is not on the list. The operator holds a licence from another European jurisdiction and does not participate in the German permit regime. That single fact drives everything else on this page: which limits apply, which blocks bite, and where a complaint actually goes.
The statutory requirements, side by side with reality
| Requirement in Germany | Purpose | At an operator without a German permit |
|---|---|---|
| €1 maximum stake per slot spin | Caps the loss per round | Does not apply; stake ranges follow the game |
| 5-second minimum spin, autoplay banned | Slows the pace of play | Does not apply; rounds run at the operator's speed |
| €1,000 monthly deposit cap via LUGAS | Works across all operators, not per account | Does not apply; only the in-account limit exists |
| OASIS self-exclusion register | One exclusion blocks every German licensee at once | Out of reach; only the operator's own exclusion |
| Panic button with a 24-hour lock | Immediate exit in one click | Not mandated |
| Parallel sessions blocked | One operator at a time | Not implemented |
| 5.3 percent tax on every stake | Goes to the treasury, reduces effective return | Not levied |
The table reads honestly in both directions. Outside the German regime a set of restrictions falls away that many players experience as paternalism: stakes above a euro, faster rounds, no reporting to a central activity register. What also falls away is the safety net those restrictions were stretched across. An OASIS exclusion holds at every German licensee; an exclusion agreed with a single operator holds exactly as long as that operator honours it. The full picture sits under Responsible Gambling and Self-Exclusion and Limits.
A cashier that runs in euros
The payment list contains no exotics — it covers what people in Germany actually use. Trustly pulls the amount straight from a current account and sends winnings back down the same pipe. Skrill behaves as a conventional e-wallet and is usually the quickest route on the return leg. Paysafecard travels one way only. A SEPA transfer is the slowest option and the most discreet one on a bank statement. Crypto through USDT or Litecoin ignores banking hours entirely but adds network fees. PayPal is missing from this list on purpose: the company withdrew from gambling payments in Germany.
| Route | Minimum deposit | Return leg after approval |
|---|---|---|
| Trustly (open banking) | €10 | up to 3 hours to the bank account |
| Skrill (e-wallet) | €10 | up to 3 hours |
| Paysafecard (prepaid) | €10 | no payout; return via SEPA or Skrill |
| Visa and Mastercard | €10 | 1 to 3 banking days |
| SEPA transfer | €15 | 1 to 3 banking days |
| Bitcoin and other crypto routes | approx. €25 | up to 6 hours |
Every payout begins with a review by the operator, budgeted at up to 24 hours and up to 48 the first time round. The minimum withdrawal is 15 euros and the cashier states a ceiling of 4,000 euros per week. The operator reports charging no fees of its own; network costs on crypto and any charges from your own bank sit outside that promise. Step-by-step instructions live in the deposit guide and the withdrawal guide, with the full comparison under Payments.
The bonus is arithmetic, not a gift
| Term | Value in the conditions |
|---|---|
| Wagering requirement | 40× the bonus amount |
| Time window | 14 days from credit |
| Minimum qualifying deposit | €20 |
| Maximum stake while a bonus is active | €5 per round |
| Slot contribution | 100 % |
| Table and live-dealer contribution | 10 % |
| Video poker contribution | 0 % |
The percentage on the banner is the least informative number in the whole offer. The factor, the deadline and the contribution table decide everything. A 100-euro bonus at 40× means 4,000 euros of turnover within a fortnight; attempting that at the tables multiplies the distance by ten, to 40,000 euros, which nobody clears casually in 14 days. This is where bonus balances die, not at the hands of bad luck. Worked examples for each promotion sit under Bonus, and the mechanics of the multiplier under Wagering Requirements.
Opening an account, then proving who you are
- Registration: email address, password, date of birth and country of residence. The details must match the identity document, or verification fails later at the least convenient moment.
- Verification straight away: upload an identity document and proof of address on day one rather than when a payout is pending.
- Limits first: set deposit, loss and session limits before the first payment. A limit set in advance restrains; a limit set afterwards consoles.
- Start small: a first session at the smallest stake, with a fixed finishing time decided beforehand.
The complete sequence, including which document formats are accepted, is described under Registration.
Arguments for and against
In favour
- Account and cashier run in euros throughout, so no conversion spread on either leg
- Entry from 10 euros, with a 15-euro minimum withdrawal
- Trustly and Skrill return money within hours of approval
- Round-the-clock support in German and English via live chat and email
- No 5.3 percent stake tax reducing the value of each spin before play begins
Against
- No entry on the GGL whitelist, so no German supervisory procedure applies
- Neither OASIS nor the 1,000-euro LUGAS cap reaches this operator
- Disputes travel to the licensing jurisdiction's dispute body, not to a German authority
- A 40× requirement inside 14 days is an ambitious setting
- Paysafecard cannot return money, so a second payment route is mandatory
What the 5.3 percent actually costs
Germany taxes virtual slot play at 5.3 percent of the stake. Not of the profit, not of the loss — of every euro wagered, and sports betting carries the same rate. Stake one euro a hundred times at a German licensee and 5.30 euros has already gone to the treasury before any return-to-player figure does its work. Most operators deduct it at the spin; some display it separately. Either way it shows up as a lower effective payout percentage. An operator outside the German permit regime does not levy it at all. That is a real advantage in the arithmetic, and it comes bundled with the absence of every statutory protection listed above. Both halves belong in the same decision.
Playing on a phone without an app store
The interface runs entirely in a mobile browser on Android and iOS alike. There is no listing in the Play Store or the App Store, because both companies admit gambling apps in Germany only on terms that presuppose a German permit. For Android the operator instead offers a directly installable file, which means the store's review step disappears and responsibility for the source shifts to the user. What that means in practice, and when the browser remains the more sensible choice, is covered under App and Browser.
Setting limits before the evening sets them
Gambling can become addictive, and an operator outside the German regime omits precisely the barriers the legislator installed against that. What remains adjustable inside the account matters all the more: a deposit limit per week or month, a loss limit, a session limit, a time-out running from 24 hours to several months, and full account closure. These tools bind one operator only. An exclusion that works everywhere means OASIS, and OASIS is reached through operators holding a German permit. Independent counselling is available from the federal health education agency BZgA through its Spielen mit Verantwortung programme, from the Check dein Spiel self-assessment portal, and from the addiction counselling centres of the federal states — free of charge and anonymous.
How this assessment is produced
The criteria are ones a reader can check. Does the operator appear on the GGL whitelist? Do the bonus terms state factor, deadline and contribution table in one place, or scatter them across three documents? Which deadlines does the cashier publish, and which documents does verification demand? How quickly, and in which language, does support reply? Words such as trusted or secure appear in these texts only where something verifiable stands behind them. The portal is funded through partner links; that changes nothing about the terms you receive from the operator, and it does not decide the order of the sections. The person behind the pages is introduced under Malte Brenninger, the funding under Affiliate Disclosure, and the long-form verdict under Reviews.

What this portal does and does not do
richroyalcasino.biz describes a platform it does not own. No account can be opened here, no balance topped up, no round started; a click on a button pointing at the operator leaves this domain. The texts are information, not legal advice, and not an encouragement to gamble with money.
What is written here ages. Bonus terms change, payment routes disappear, and the GGL whitelist is updated continuously. Every figure on this page therefore carries the same caveat: it does not replace a look at the operator's current terms, it explains what to look for while reading them.
