Richroyal assessed criterion by criterion
What follows is not a verdict on whether the platform is good. It is an attempt to describe what it is, using criteria that a reader can check independently, weighted for someone reading from Germany. Where a criterion scores badly the reason is stated; where it scores well the same applies.
The seven criteria and the reasoning
| Criterion | Weight | Assessment |
|---|---|---|
| Regulatory status in Germany | Highest | Weak. No entry on the whitelist of the joint gambling authority; supervision sits in another EU jurisdiction |
| Cashier terms and timing | High | Strong. Euro account, entry from 10 euros, e-wallet returns within three hours of approval |
| Bonus arithmetic | High | Demanding. A 40× requirement inside 14 days, with a 5 euro stake cap and 10 percent table contribution |
| Transparency of the conditions | High | Adequate. Factor, deadline and contribution table are stated; they are stated in the terms rather than on the banner |
| Player protection tools | High | Limited by design. Account-level limits only; no OASIS, no LUGAS, no statutory stake ceiling |
| Support | Medium | Good. Round-the-clock live chat and email, German-speaking |
| Catalogue | Medium | Slot-led. Eight titles carry the front of the catalogue; live tables sit outside the German permit regime entirely |
Where the assessment is unambiguous
The regulatory criterion carries the most weight and produces the clearest result. Germany maintains a public list of every operator permitted to serve players here, published by the authority in Halle an der Saale. Richroyal is not on it. Everything that follows from that — no OASIS reach, no cross-operator deposit ceiling, no one-euro stake limit, no five-second spin floor, no mandated panic button, and a dispute path ending in the licensing jurisdiction rather than with a German authority — is not an opinion about the operator's conduct. It is a description of which legal machinery is connected.
The cashier criterion produces an equally clear result in the opposite direction. The account runs in euros, so nothing is lost to conversion. The entry point of 10 euros is low, the 15-euro minimum withdrawal is reasonable, and the return leg through Trustly or Skrill is measured in hours rather than days once the review is complete. The one structural weakness is paysafecard, which cannot pay money back and therefore forces a second registered route.
Where the assessment depends on the reader
The bonus is the clearest example. A 40× requirement inside 14 days, at a 5 euro stake cap, is hard but not theatrical: 4,000 euros of slot turnover on a 100-euro bonus is achievable for someone who plays regularly and impossible for someone who plays twice a month. The contribution table decides more than the multiplier does — attempting the same requirement at tables or live games multiplies the distance tenfold, at which point the offer is not an offer.
The absence of the 5.3 percent German stake tax works the same way. It is a genuine arithmetic advantage: a licensed operator remits 5.3 percent of every euro wagered, usually deducted at the spin, and that shows up as a lower effective return. Whether that advantage outweighs the loss of every statutory safeguard is not a question this page can answer for anyone. It is, however, the actual question, and most reviews of German-facing platforms avoid stating it.
How these marks are produced
Regulatory status comes from the public register, not from badges. Cashier figures come from the operator's own cashier pages, quoted as published. Bonus terms come from the terms document rather than the promotional page, then converted into euros. Transparency is judged by whether factor, deadline and contribution percentages appear together or scattered across separate documents. Protection tools are judged by what a user can actually switch on, and by which central systems do or do not apply. The method is described in full under about this site, and the commercial relationship behind the pages under affiliate disclosure.
What this assessment does not claim
It does not claim the platform is safe, trustworthy or fair, because those words are conclusions a reader draws rather than facts a portal establishes. It quotes no licence number that cannot be looked up. It promises no outcome, and it publishes no player testimonials — a quote attributed to a first name and a town proves nothing to anybody. Every number here should be re-checked against the operator's current terms, which change without notice.
